Round conical tank with concave bottom KB model Round conical tank with concave bottom KB model

This tank differs from the traditional round models by its unusual core, close to ovoid shape. These round conical concrete tank with concave bottom interior curves have been designed for a slow and gentle aging of your wine. The shape of this wine tank helps the micro-oxygenation process along, thanks to the concrete component. It also makes the wine's flow easier in the end of the wine-making process. In addition, the absence of any corners into the concrete conical wine tank facilitates...

These wine fermentation tanks vary in their degree of conicity, which ranges from 7% to 11%. They are thermally inert and so favour long, gentle fermentation during the wine making process. Moreover, the wine is subjected to the micro-oxygenation dues to the concrete wine tank. This process offers to develop the tannins of the wine. The design of the low round and oblong conical tanks made by Nomblot is modelled on traditional wooden vats but with modifications adapted to the needs of modern...

These tanks vary in their degree of conicity, which ranges from 26% to 31%. They are thermally inert and so favour long, gentle fermentation. Their design is modelled on traditional wooden vats but with modifications adapted to the needs of modern wine-makers. These designs have also been made for the Screaming Eagle, Dana Estate, and Harlan domaines.

Nomblot's truncated cone-shaped vinification tanks meet the needs of the largest wineries.

Thanks to their special design with varying degrees of conicity, truncated cone-shaped tanks offer many advantages to winemakers.
In fact, a slight 5% slope at the bottom of the wine fermentation tank facilitates the draining and devatting of the beverage once the winemaking process is complete. In addition, the absence of corners in the wine tank also simplifies its cleaning, which is faster and more efficient.

The concrete vinification tank has physico-chemical properties that ensure micro-oxygenation of the wine during fermentation. This natural process will soften the tannins to obtain a rounder wine with concentrated aromas.
Furthermore, the concrete composing the Nomblot truncated cone vinification tanks offers excellent thermal inertia properties. Temperatures are therefore more easily controlled within the truncated cone tank during the winemaking process. An ideal asset for making red wines in large wineries, for example! Nomblot's truncated-cone-shaped concrete wine tanks also have large storage capacities.

Nomblot's concrete tanks can be used for two different applications: wine fermentation and storage once the winemaking process is complete.

Nomblot offers three models of truncated wine tanks in its catalog:
- Round conical tank with ocncave bottom KB model
- Low round and oblong conical tank
- High round and oblong conical tank
