The main strength of Marjosse is to possess an exceptional vineyard. Something quite rare in the Entre-Deux-Mers, the limestone at Astéries, the same that made the reputation of the wines of Saint Emilion, comes here to the outcrop. Marjosse took to a new takeoff. Several high quality plots have been added to the vineyard. Replanting with a high density helped to better exploit its excellent land.
Château Marjosse's Domain called on Nomblot, concrete wine fermenter maker in France, to equip its wine cellar wine a set of three high round and long conical concrete tanks.
These wine fermentation tanks are designed from ancient wooden tanks. Their conicity ranges from 26% and 31% while the concrete tank's bottom is a 5% slope. This eases the flow at the end of the wine making process.
Nomblot uses high quality concrete to manufacture its wine fermentation tanks. This thermally inert material stabilises the temperatures inside the concrete tanks in order to preserve the wine's quality.
In addition, the concrete conical wine fermentation tank allows a micro-oxygenation while wine making process. This natural process offers a sweet and aromatic end product.
